That eating thing which happens to so many, where you’ve had your evening meal, but then simply keep eating. You “stuff your gob” as one victim told me she does regularly. You’re a self-confessed feaster. A lover of food. A lover of eating. Trouble is, its making you bigger whilst dissolving your motivation and pushing you towards the poorly end of the health spectrum.
You can just resolve that you’ll stop.
Maybe today …
Maybe when the biscuits / wine / chocolates (insert your own) are gone …?
But you don’t always win if you play defensively.
Sometimes an attack, barrage, strike, onslaught or even a direct intervention is needed. Try these quick solutions to evening nibbling.
- Set a timer. Give it 20 mins. If you still want the yummy things after that, its yours
- Move. Get up, change seats, climb the stairs, walk round the block
- Move the offending product – so consumption isn’t on autopilot
- Clean your teeth
- Or just do that nice British thing, and have a nice cuppa tea.
- Or better still, do all that! Start now.
If what you’re doing isn’t working, change it.
Lotsa love
