Its January so we are literally deluged with ways to lose weight, coming from all directions. The latest I saw was “take these keto capsules and melt fat fast”.

So what do we think about that claim?

If it were really possible to melt fat fast then that would literally be the Holy Grail of weight loss. I can see the headline now ….

  • There would be no fat people. No obesity.
  • The NHS would be unburdened. 
  • Diabetes and Hypertension would be virtually unknown.
  • Arthritis and inflammatory conditions would decrease.
  • Britain would be healthier.
(But we know that’s not happening. Britain is still struggling with an Obesity crisis. And women are even fatter than men).
“Melt fat fast”.  ??? 
For a start – fat does NOT melt (unless its burned by actual fire).
When you lose fat, you don’t burn it.  You use it up.
Fat cells on your body are like your kitchen cupboard.
They store unused food.   So when you lose fat, you take surplus energy out of your fat cells and convert it to energy.
You can lose fat in 3 ways 
  1. Starvation.  ❌
    Not recommended … Ive had a go at this in my early 20’s and trust me, its rubbish.
  2. Liposuction.  ❌
    Not recommended because it’ll come back elsewhere if you don’t change your lifestyle.
  3. Exercise, better food, lifestyle change ✅✅✅
    THIS ONE!!

 

 

What’s this Keto thing then? 

Eating “keto” means eating drastically low carb and high protein – like the Atkins Diet or similar.  It often works simply because it stops you eating stuff like pies, cakes, biscuits, crisps, sweets and chocolate (all carbs).

I’m not exactly sure what a “keto pill” could possibly be.  God knows what’s in them tbh. But one thing’s for sure, keto pills are neither natural, nor sustainable for weight loss.

Chances are they might well wreck both your physiology and your psychology if taken long-term.

😱  Personally, I would not put those in my body. 😱

Here’s your Golden Rule. 

It’s a rule that your mum or your Grandma may have mentioned.  Its one that’s very easy to remember.  And its a cliche (because its true).

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably IS.

Follow my MOST DAYS PLAN.

The ONLY way to lose weight, and make your body healthy and your brain happy is this to follow my “most days” plan which I give to all my clients.

Ditch the junk on most days. 

Eat more good stuff on most days. 

Avoid alcohol on most days.

Get active on most days. 

Can’t do that? If you’re now thinking yeah yeah yeah, I know that Noelle.  But its too hard. I still want a miracle cure for this weight. I don’t want to feel fat and frumpy anymore.🙀
