WINE vs DOUGHNUT CALORIES
Morning. I don’t mean to spoil your weekend, but there’s an image in today’s bulletin you need to see.
If you’re a calorie counter and a wine drinker, you should see this. It might help you if when someone says “Wine?” you automatically say “YES PLEASE”.
What is the difference between the calories in wine and the calories in a doughnut?
Well … turns out, its actually very little!
- Both are highly refined.
- Both contain loads of sugar.
- Both will hit your bloodstream FAST, causing a massive sugar spike.
- And both will then be rapidly and totally absorbed into your fat cells so that you’ll see them next time you try to get into those tight jean.
The only difference is that wine is alcoholic … so the more you drink the more you’re likely to binge! So next time you’re drinking wine …. see it as a doughnut.

Far better than wine OR doughnuts, is to STOP counting calories, and START looking at the quality of your food…
