What Women REALLY want is this …
They want to feel gorgeous.
They want to turn heads
They want to know that all the clothes in their wardrobe fit … and they fit ….. beautifully.
They want their gold ring to feel loose.
They want their slimmest jeans to slide on easily.
They want their partner to say WOW.
They want to feel feminine.
Vibrant. Young. Energetic. Get that Va Va Voom.
They don’t want to be the one the family waits for.
Absolutely not.
They want to be the first to the top.
The one who chooses to go on the rollercoaster.
The one who climbs the stile conquers the hill, puts on the coat, and insists on going for a walk when the weather’s vile.
They want to be the one who laughs if they fall in a puddle.
Or giggles when she gets caught in the rain.
Or enjoys slipping in the snow.
They want to be able to go to bed …. and not be comatose in a black-out stupor when they hit the pillow (you know what I mean here).
They want to feel clear-headed.
Awake.
Alive.
Present.
To be the partner, the daughter, the wife, the mum, the lover that they know they can be.
They want to be able to run for a bus. Dive into a pool. Walk in high heels. And swing the kids up in the air without worrying about pulling their backs.
They want to be the Fun Mum. The Glamorous Gran.
The one who can not only cope …. but is totally in control … easily …. a lovely role model. Someone who is great to be with. And helpful to the family.
They want to feel confident. Not worry that their friends are looking at them with sympathy that they’ve gained weight in lockdown and have to wear jogging trousers all the time.
They want to love.
To laugh
To be happy.
Maybe … just maybe ….
They secretly want to look just a little better than their friend – or their sister –
(but they’d never admit that openly).
And of course….
They want people to NOTICE.
