People ask me all the time “Should I eat this?” It might be that they’re looking for a miracle weight loss cure, curious about a new “super-food”, or just plain confused about what’s good and what’s not.

At the risk of making myself unpopular in some circles, 95% of the time I say to folks that NO that is not what you need. Its quite simply some rubbish folks are trying to make money from.

Products like:

  • Slim-fast
  • Probiotics – supplements and yogurts
  • Boom Bod
  • Skinny Coffee
  • Optifast
  • Herbalife

The list goes on and on. Makes me so mad. People being misled so they spend their money on stuff that not only won’t work long-term, but may also make them feel worse physically and emotionally

But there is actually this one thing that lots of people are raving about. And it IS worth adding to your kitchen.

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV).

Apple Cider Vinegar

ACV (with Mother) is one of those amazing foods which really helps us. Natural greek yogurt is another.

Including it in our diet makes us healthier inside.

Unlike all the above “rubbish”, its been actually proven to help us in many ways – lowers cholesterol, improves gut bacteria, reduces inflammation so helps with arthritis, stabilises blood sugar, and more. This is my nearly-empty bottle.

Apparently actress Scarlett Johanssen washes her face in the stuff. (I wouldn’t do that by the way. Its very acidic).

Aristotle swore by it. Sir Ranulph Fiennes allegedly attributes his arthritis control to having it daily.

But remember. Drinking it by the gallon is NOT going to help you lose weight if you eat too much and are not active enough. Its very acidic, so you don’t want to replace all your daily fluids with it.

Its good ….. but not that good. Add it to salads. Toss leaves in it. A tiny bit every day!
