And what can you do about it?

Signs of chaotic minds are everywhere on social media.

Recent Christmas adverts have been put up and people have put outrageous comments out on them.  The papers are full of weird and nasty subjects. There’s a reason for this.  People are worried, anxious, and scared for what’s going to happen in the future … to our country … with the pandemic

When people are feeling all of these negative emotions it causes chaos. They lash out at others,  offend people, and are generally not very kind. It’s because it’s one thing they can control.

Seeing this made me think to write all this.

SIGNS OF A CHAOTIC MIND

Worry
Frustration
Dissatisfaction
Anxiousness
Sleeplessness
Feeling like no matter what you do you cannot change these things long term.

The bottom line is this.

Most of us have happiness inside but we need to channel it and work on ourselves.

HERE’S WHAT TO DO.

  1. Take time first thing…Write down what you want to do today to make yourself happy & calm

    Then follow this with something you are grateful for.

    Then three things you want to achieve today that are non-negotiable

    (don’t put any more than 3 on the list as this will be a bonus) it is better to achieve things then add jobs on over not finishing something.

  2. Check yourself before you wreck yourself.As soon as the chaotic thinking pops up start writing those thoughts down. Then rationalize your thoughts and ask yourself “am I stressing over something that I cannot control” (If you can control it then again write it down and write a plan on how to do this).
  3. Aches and pains.Take note of any areas in your body that tighten up or aches e.g with me my upper back gets tense <- this is one of my signs. Yours could be feeling run down, tight neck etc.

    These signs are there to tell you to get yourself in check.

  4. Let it go.As humans, our mind works and wants to control every outcome.
    This is just not possible.
    The past is the past – You cannot change this… simple.
    The future hasn’t happened yet.  So don’t worry about it. If you stress about your future, you will steer more in that direction. Just STOP.
  5. Be in the Present.
    The Now is another story – every second you send in the present is changing your future. Spend your time in the present.  Focus on one of the three things you want to achieve today and move forward.
