Yes.  “Have you lost weight?”

Those are 4 little words which can really make your day!!

I’ve just had some news on the subject of weight loss which really made me smile.

One of my PT clients came to me last Autumn because she wants to lose 2 stone, feel less breathless, wear a lovely dress, and move more easily.

To start with things didn’t go great, so we’ve had to work together closely to make it work better. Thats the joy of having a Personal Trainer by the way.  We tweaked many parts of her weight loss programme, including her base activity and daily step count, joint mobility, food groups to eat more of,  and her mindset too.

But now, finally, its starting to work.  And she’s loving it!

She had a friend say to her the other day …”Ohh, come on, you’re looking great, have you lost weight?”.

She was so great.  She said she replied coolly, “Yes, I’m trying.”   And sort of shrugged it off because she hasn’t yet lost everything that she wants to.
