Maybe feeling at your wits end.
You try to eat the healthy stuff, take your own lunch to work.
You’re even thinking about not having breakfast to compensate for the amount that’s eaten in the evenings. (Cos is almost always in the evenings isn’t it).
But you get in from work
Nackered
Fed up
Not had the best day …
Still loads to do
Ironing
kids tea
shopping
the house is a mess
You just don’t get time
No me-time at all….
Then they need a lift somewhere.
Or there’s homework.
Or your partners late in and its just not going well
So that puts paid to making anything healthy for the evening.
Puts paid to you doing anything you might want to
Truth is, come 8pm, you’re needing something. A pick me up. Something sweet. Or maybe it’s the crunch and the salt you’re after.
By now you likely feel you deserve it … had such a 💩 day
Its calling you ..
“I’m here, I’m here, eat me, eat me, eat me”🍩 🍰 🍕🍷
God its like a scene from Alice in Wonderland … 🐰
Eat me. Drink me. Stuff me down. 👀
And you KNOW deep in your heart, that this will continue. Round and round. Its making your waistline grow. Its making your confidence shrink.
No time
No will power
No chance.
💥💥 NOOOOOOOOOO!! 💥💥
It doesn’t have to be like that! Put a 🔧 in those works!!
Try these 5 things instead.
1. MOVE the items you crave. Put them in a tin, Or on a shelf. They are just not in their usual place (allows time for brain to kick in).
2. Then in the morning, have breakfast. Eggs on wholegrain. Or no sugar muesli with some nuts and loads of fruit.
3. Drink a small glass of water every 2 hours from 9am to 5pm.
4. Get organised and take lunch to work with you. This HAS to contain protein – cheese, ham, tuna, eggs, veggie sausage, lentil pate, hummus. Take a break from work and ENJOY this taste!
5. If / when cravings strike clean your teeth. Then do something different for 3 minutes.
And try NOT to have the items you crave in the house in future. 😊
