Dieting, calorie counting, eating diet foods, and watching literally everything that goes into your mouth is NOT a permanent or sustainable solution to overweight or obesity. It will not work.
All those things could damage you metabolically and emotionally, leaving you actually with more fat than you have now, AND feeling like a total failure.

3 Point DIET ESCAPE STRATEGY
- Make yourself accountable to something/someone. Whether that’s joining a gym, arranging to walk instead of coffee with friends, or borrowing someone’s dog to get you moving – give yourself a REASON to get active.
- Ensure that whatever you’ve chosen to do is something that always makes you feel good afterward. OK, sometimes you might have to force yourself to do it. But you know it always makes you feel better.
(If you hate the gym – that’s not your thing btw!)
Decide where the problems are with your food/drink. Chances are you KNOW what’s going wrong. You just can’t stop doing it.
Maybe the glass of wine after a stressful day, and one day leads to the next?
Perhaps you nibble crisps in the evening too often?
Perhaps you just love food?
Whatever it is, decide what you are prepared to CHANGE. Make a deal with yourself – what can you reduce or give up? And how often can you realistically see yourself doing that?
Initially set your sites for change as low. Cut yourself lots and lots of slack – you’ll get good days and bad when you start to change your lifestyle. But if every day you consistently work on these three things, you WILL get WEIGHT LOSS RESULTS!.
