<p>And that&#8217;s so true with diet. You&#8217;ll see things in the paper and on the telly about the latest &#8220;fad diet miracle food&#8221; or &#8220;weight loss machine&#8221;. Trust me. Do NOT believe this stuff. If it appears to be too good to be true, then it probably is. </p>
<p>The ONLY way to lose weight, tone up and get more energy in your life is simply to eat, drink and exercise properly.  Eating and drinking well is key &#8230; it gives you energy to exercise when you feel tired and gets you started. You also need to want to do it. Motivation to exercise comes from having a real goal.  </p>

<p>Feeling Fabulous Club is now a guaranteed 3000 steps per class!.  I have 4 spaces in this group course at the moment.</p>

<p>Has spaces.</p>
<p>Tuedays &amp; Thursdays 9 &#8211; 10am, Rhewl Pavilion (Nr Ruthin)</p>
<p>It’s an established group of ladies aged 50 to a young 80. It&#8217;s gentle(ish) keep fit and lots of flexibility. This class is normally a well-kept secret. But unusually we now have space for a few more lovely ladies.  Suppleness, weight loss, tone &#8230; and a giggle &#8230; are all guaranteed!</p>

<p>The dreadful news that <a title="Claire Squires" href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/apr/23/london-marathon-death-claire-squires" target="_blank">Claire Squires died in the London Marathon</a> was terrible and my heart goes out to all her family and friends.  But remember this folks&#8230;.</p>
<p>Death during exercise is extremely rare.   Whereas death due to heart disease and overweight are extremely common.</p>
<p>Use your head. Don&#8217;t look for an excuse not to look after yourself.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I’ve Gone and Got My Old Hobby Back!</p>
<p>This year is the first year for nearly 20 years that I have my evenings free. I’ve been teaching fitness classes and taking Personal Training clients since 1993… much of it has been evenings.</p>
<p>But now that’s all changed. I now have my evenings back. So now I can do what I used to love doing &#8211; going to fitness classes again. When you teach a class or a one-to-one session it’s a real buzz. But it’s really NOT the same as taking part in one yourself. You don’t get the high that you get from completing a workout to the best of your ability.</p>

<p>Many people there now ask “How does it feel, being on the customers side after teaching the classes?” And you know what, it feels absolutely marvellous! I feel like someone’s given me my old hobby back!!</p>
<p>I first started in fitness as a participant, years ago when my daughters were tiny. I was unfit and uncoordinated. I was the person at the back of the Aerobics Class who couldn’t do it.</p>
<p>Red face, wrong trainers, wrong clothes….</p>
<p>But I LOVED IT!</p>
<p>I quickly got good at it and decided to work in the fitness industry. My business led from a hobby. I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to do something that I love and to be able to inspire too.</p>
<p>Going back to Classes in the evenings has made me tired, made my muscles ache and has pushed me plenty. And its FAB!!</p>

<p><strong>I know, it’s another one of those things about exercise, fitness and weight loss.</strong></p>
<p>But what did you expect from a Personal Trainer&#8230;. it’s not gonna be like an extract from Hello magazine is it? Lol!</p>
<p>I get so mad when I hear people saying, or see on Facebook status updates that people are feeling fat and don&#8217;t know what to do about it. In fact, I am now going to have a little rant, so you might want to stop reading if you are easily offended. The very FIRST thing you need to do about it is to stop complaining about it and take some positive action&#8230;..</p>
<ul>
<li>Get moving</li>
<li>Walk at lunchtimes</li>
<li>Go to classes</li>
<li>Buy a pedometer (strangely addictive) Most “Smart Phones” will have some kind of <a title="iPhone Best Pedometer Apps" href="http://www.iphoneappsfinder.com/blog/15-best-pedometer-applications-for-iphone/" target="_blank">pedometer app </a>on there too which may be of use</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Stop eating crap &#8211; remember, you put crap in then you get crap out</li>
<li>Choose healthy, good quality, tasty food. Enjoy it&#8230;. eat it slowly and don&#8217;t have much</li>
<li>Don&#8217;t eat &#8220;diet&#8221; food &#8230; its full of crap and tastes like it • Read &#8220;French women don&#8217;t get fat”&#8230;. in bed at night, NOT in the day when you should be out exercising</li>
<li>Decide what your food “offenders” are – then work out ways to cut them down</li>
<li>NEVER, never, never eat whilst doing anything else</li>
<li>Never eat standing up &#8230; or watching the telly</li>
<li>Make mealtimes a pleasure, a ritual to be savoured</li>
<li>If you want to lose weight then you should NOT be drinking alcohol more than 2 days per week</li>
<li>If you have to snack then don&#8217;t eat crap (again). Fruit is a good option</li>
<li>Find an activity that you enjoy and make it a part of your life</li>
<li>When you exercise, really TRY! You will have to experience some discomfort if you want to break through and get gorgeous.</li>
</ul>
<p>You can do ANYTHING if you really want it bad enough.</p>
